- This simple yet elegant belt is in great overall condition! A vintage sash belt clasp has been reused with a salmon-colored strip of fabric to create a brand-new, one-and-only fashion accessory piece. Minor metal flaws do not take away from the generally lovely design, and of the numerous clear rhinestones on each section, only 6 stones total have been lost over time; and this is barely noticeable at a glance. Both the belt itself & its buckle are quite clean, though the buckle would surely benefit from a good polishing, to enhance the shine of the rhinestones. The cloth used here is unknown, possibly a polyester blend...its texture is very close-woven but also appears to have a lightweight, breathable quality. If one chooses to keep the current material attached, then the stitching at either end could probably be reinforced--other than that, the clasp seems as though it will hold securely while wearing. Great for adding a touch of class to your favorite casual outfit.
